Spiral Dynamics 101

I was writing a Substack post about this concept called Spiral Dynamics but as I kept writing, it just grew and grew until eventually I decided to just turn it into a small e-book. So here we are!

Spiral Dynamics is a model of how our consciousness as humans evolve and it’s a concept I’ve always really liked. I’ve been wanting to make content about it for a long time but I felt like I never knew enough. So I thought I’d at least write out a quick overview just to give a quick overview to people but then well it’s kind of turned into a little bit more than that now.

It’s like how we can observe lifeforms evolving physically to adapt to the environment, we can also observe how humans evolve in consciousness to adapt. Once you see it, you might be like gee whiz that tracks! At least it was for me! Gawrsh Goofy!

Basically, from cavemen to tribes to empires to societies to capitalism to sustainability to putting it all together to letting it all go and being a child again frolicking effortlessly with the divine flow of the universe.

If you liked God Game you’ll probably like this as well. Though it’s not as spiritually dense and more grounded. It kind of categorizes all the things, expressions and archetypes of human existence into different stages and you can kinda see how we’ve moved through different stages as a whole and also how individual people are at different stages at different times.

It might shed a lot of light on your own patterns as it did for me as I wrote the book.
